Free Affiliate Insider – My Final Words

Free Affiliate Insider - R.I.P.

I thought I would have to put this post up here today as I still get lots of comments on my original post about Free Affiliate Insider, and about 95% of it is NOT GOOD. I am also subscribed to a thread about the program and Michael Beeson over at Yedda, and I urge you to have a read of it.

When I made my first post, I had just signed up with the program and had to overcome a few stumbling blocks, and the first 2 months or so it looked it might be a legitimate program, but after my own experience and reading through all the comments here on my blog and on Yedda, this is my final verdict of Free Affiliate Insider:

SCAM. Do not sign up for it. It’s not worth your money or the hassle.

If you want to make money on the Internet and you are serious, be prepared to put in some work by learning how to set up and manage your own website or blog, and you can be very successful. I mean you are trying to make money online, and that is only possible through websites/blogs, that’s the name of the game. Don’t you think it would be worth learning how to do that? There is no quick fix, and certainly not with Free Affiliate Insider. It takes a little bit of effort and time to get in the game, but it will be worth it to learn it yourself as then you yourself will be in control of your online business, not somebody else.

With this in mind, and knowing that most of you won’t have all that much money to spend on training manuals etc, I urge you to sign up for Affilorama, which is a FREEHappy Chappy - Free Stuff!training and community site for aspiring affiliate marketers. Here you get taught everything about building a website or blog. Affilorama “… was founded in 2006 by well-known super-affiliate Mark Ling, and features step-by-step lessons, interviews with gurus of the internet marketing industry, a bunch of useful affiliate tools and a lively forum.”

I am subscribed, and I think it’s a wonderful site with lots of support and tons of free material and training to achieve success in affiliate marketing.

So, to be clear: I have officially put my site DietReviewCentral from Free Affiliate Insider on my pile on the office floor that gets no attention from me any more. Done and dusted, R.I.P. I have made sure that there won’t be any more future charges to me in any way (renewal of hosting or domain), and just let it run its course now.  If you have signed up for more than one year of hosting, it might pay off to ask for a refund of some of the hosting fees ( it’s not worth it for me because my hosting company for that particular website does charge a cancellation fee which is about as high as the hosting for one year 🙁 ). Also, have a think whether you could use your domain for another – better – website which you will build yourself. After all, if you sign up with Affilorama, you will learn how to do it!

I wish you all the success you deserve. 🙂

Here, here! YOU SAID IT SISTER!

HERE IS THE DRUM ROLE OF NAMES OF COMPANIES THAT ARE LINKED (AND PERHAPS THE SAME PERSON) TO THIS MESS.
Below are the links where you can file a complaint. The Attorney General of the state of Texas, already won a case against them in Feb 2009. This repeat offense could be enough to send them to jailo so they can’t keep changing names and do it again.

HERE IS WHERE YOU CAN FILE A REPORT AND DO IT FAST, CUZ I THINK THEY ARE ON THE MOVE. THE NUMBER OF REPORTS/COMPLAINTS FILED AGAINST THEM WILL GET THEM ON THE MOVE. SO IF YOU DON’T FILE, DON’T COMPLAIN.

(IF YOU ARE INTERNATIONAL, THIS RAMPS IT UP TO A WHOLE NUTTER BALL GAME FOR THE FEDS!- THEY WILL GET ON THEM)
No more international “vacations” for them!

I will file one report each, then I dump this on the floor like Petra :^) and move on. I will do this for others sake. Then that’s it.

I’m sorry to burst your bubbles, but all of that above is a lie?

I have my site with FreeAffiliateInsider, it works perfectly, I am a member of the Co-Op and I am in fact making money every month?

The site is live, the system is live and everything is working fine, so to say that the site is RIP is just misleading and wrong?

I have no axe to grind here and would imagine that this post will not even make it to the site, but I thought that anyone who reads this would actually want to know that the system does work and that I am in fact making money?

    Good luck.

    Jerry

    • Petra Weiss says:

@Jerry, good to hear that at least somebody is making some money of this. I will this time still stick with the majority of people here – I am not getting back in the game, and I will not change my view. But I am glad that you are successful with it!

    • anju says:

I got my site from my affiliateinsider. they promised that if i dont make money they will refund me$100 within 48 hours. Now they are not even responding what is their mail id through which they respond. i feel they are fake. I have lost my money perhaps.

      can you suggest any solution.

      • Petra Weiss says:

Anju, my suggestion is to count your losses, move on and do not buy into programs like that any more. Follow programs like The WordPress Classroom – they are absolutely worth every penny. And please do not fall into the same trap that I did fall into – buying all sorts of tutorials and programs to learn more. Start with one and go from there. Any more, and you will get completely cluttered and unproductive. I speak from experience!

  4. Ruri says:

If affilorama.com is providing free material for building affiliate program business. how this website make money?
.-= Ruri@Free article directory´s last blog ..Useful Tips to Buy Used Cars Online =-.

    • Petra Weiss says:

@Ruri, I think Mark Ling is making lots of money from other sites, and he also has an upgrade to premium membership within the site Affilorama which costs $49 a month. It’s not necessary to take the membership up, but sure beneficial. So that’s how he makes his money! 😉

  5. ron says:

I’m surprised you recommend affilorama, and the old freeaffiliate.com website forwards to that. What a coincidence? Do you know something we don’t know?

    • Petra Weiss says:

Ron, I had no idea that the freeaffiliateinsider site was redirecting to Affilorama. This is strange! Affilorama is a genuine and good program to learn affiliate marketing. There is nothing to lose as it is free. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Affilorama.

  6. Mark says:

I agree with the affiliate insider. I’ve heard some good things about affiliorama, but I would stay away from affiliate insider
